Hi moms! I’m so happy to be part of this community of women supporting women, and moms supporting moms, in Irvine. I am so honored to be named one of Orange County’s top doctors for 2020.
I’m an emergency room and consult liaison Psychiatrist for the Kaiser medical centers in Orange County. I’m passionate about mental health advocacy, and providing compassionate care to those with emotional and behavioral health concerns in the acute care setting. As a psychiatrist, I draw upon my training, experience, and creativity in order to connect with patients of various backgrounds, and to partner with them to restore hope and focus on healing. While I hope our paths don’t cross in this context, rest assured that if it does, my team will take the very best care of you, and/ or your loved one.
I am also a mom to two boys, and wife to a surgeon. Our lives are pretty busy, so we are very fortunate that my parents also live in Irvine, and help with the boys. It truly takes a village to raise kids these days!
Our family works hard, and plays hard. Being in medicine, my husband and I have seen firsthand how fragile and unpredictable life can be, and appreciate that each day is a gift. When we’re off work/ school, you can find us adventuring together – most often outdoors and in nature. We love living in Irvine, as it’s a great home base for exploring beaches, deserts, mountains and national parks! There’s always something fun to do!
