Hello there, we are Chelsea Croce and Lauren Jacobs, owners of Doulas of Orange County. DOC is a full-service doula agency that provides Orange County families with unwavering support through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and parenting. We offer Birth Doula support, Postpartum & Newborn Care, In-Home Sleep Training, and private Childbirth Education and Baby Prep classes. The cornerstone of our agency is to provide unconditional & non-judgmental support for all birthing and parenting styles.
We came into existence back in 2014 when as solo doulas we were frustrated with the limitations of working alone. An agency made perfect sense to be able to reach more people in the community, to provide continuity of care, full backup support for doulas, and other perks for our clients & members of our team. In the past 4 ½ years it has been such a joy to work with hundreds of couples on their journey to parenthood. No two babies are alike and in that we’re constantly learning and growing as doulas. Connection is key in this work and it is our mission to create meaningful relationships with our clients so they know they can always reach out and always rely on us.
With a Birth Doula by your side you’ll have prenatal support, access to local resources & birth planning exercises, as well as someone to call on 24/7 throughout pregnancy and birth. Your doula will give you emotional, informational, and physical support through labor and offer guidance so your partner can be there too! Your Postpartum Doula is there for you when you bring your baby home to help with bonding, lactation, & recovery. She’ll boost your confidence as new parents, teach you how to lovingly care for your newborn and nourish you so you can rest and recover from birth. Once your baby is old enough, one of our expert Sleep Coaches will come live with you for 2-3 days to get your baby sleeping peacefully through the night.
