Hello, I am a wife of almost eight years and a mother of 4. I am originally from Orlando, FL, but I currently reside in Georgia. I am huge on a couple of things, God being first and foremost and my family being the other. I am a homebody so, and I enjoy alone time with my husband and kids. Besides a wife and mom, I am a doctoral student in my last semester. Overall, I am pretty easy-going, focused, silly, and just loving the skin that God created me in.
What inspired your product or business?
It’s the Baby & Co. was inspired by the pregnancy of my husband and I in the beginning of 2020. The excitement of my belly making room for another tiny human made me want to share that excitement with other moms by producing items for their babies. Unfortunately, my husband and I loss that baby a few months after the idea of creating such a brand, and my heart was shattered. I wanted to give up because I felt as though my purpose was gone. It took tears, prayer, support, and a good talk with myself to realize that the conception of my baby served the purpose of birthing my business. With that in mind, I pressed on, and here I am today. I have a long way to go, but I am definitely up for the challenge and excited about the possibilities of It’s the Baby & Co.
Describe what your product or business offers people, parents, and/or families.
My business offers parents affordable items for their babies. The clothing and other baby related items are durable and stylish.
What makes your product or business unique or different from others?
I think what makes my business unique from others is my story. I begin my business not for monetary purposes but to spread excitement and happiness to mommies. Even though my story did not turn out as I had hoped it would, I am still determined to create a brand that is affordable and reliable for all mommies.
What is your favorite component about your product or business?
My favorite component about my business is having the freedom to carefully handpick the items I want to provide for my customers. I am constantly thinking of what will make a mother happy about any item they are placing on their baby.
