It seems like there isn’t a lot of time to do anything with such busy lives nowadays. However, one important thing is to make sure to eat and feed your body nutrients to keep you healthy. There are many easy, quick and healthy lunches and dinners you can make the week, day or morning before you’re off to your busy day, some ideas include:
Salads & Pastas
- Taco Salad: add all the ingredients you would put in a taco but put it in a bowl, give it a mix and enjoy!
- Spam Fried Rice: a simple fried rice with eggs, veggies and spam.
- Garlic Chicken Rigatoni: a combination of garlic & olive oil to make this simple, but delicious pasta!
- Lemon Chicken and Rice: simply make rice and chicken and add lemon flavoring
- Mac and Cheese: a classic macaroni and cheese pasta.

Sandwiches/Wraps:
- Quesadillas: add your favorite ingredients inside your cheese quesadillas including chicken, beef, pork, beans, veggies, etc.
- Spicy Chicken Lettuce Wraps: mix the Asian flavors with a wrap of lettuce.
- Spinach and Turkey Pinwheels: tortillas, spinach, and turkey wrapped up to create a wrap.
- Bacon Turkey Subs: make a simple sandwich with any meat, cheese, veggies and condiments that you will enjoy
- BLT tortillas: a simple BLT (bacon, lettuce, tomato) but the ingredients are wrapped inside a tortilla to make an easy wrap

Mixes:
Easy bento boxes can be made which should consist of the following:
- Protein: boiled eggs, hummus, tuna salad, chickpeas, beef jerky, deli meat
- Fruits & Veggies: carrots, apples, celery, grapes, bell-peppers, oranges
- Fibre-Rich Carbohydrates: popcorn, whole grain crackers, rice, muffins
- Snack/Sweet Treat: cookie bars, pretzels, banana bread, peanut butter cups
This is an easy way to incorporate these important, healthy foods with variety.
