Easter is a time filled with sweets, fun, and EGGitement. There are so many fun and mysterious facts about Easter that I bet you didn’t know that we participate in without even knowing!
The Easter baskets that we use each year are representations of bird’s nests and new life! Who knew right? Easter Egg Hunts have been around since the 1700’s, where men would hide eggs for women and children to find! Fast forward to today, so many families all around the world celebrate Easter with egg hunts, egg dying and loads of candy and the famous chocolate bunnies. ACTUALLY chocolate is the number 1 most sold candy for Easter. Check out each state’s favorite candy in the picture below.

Easter EGGstravaganza at the Market @ Anaheim Center Street Promenade
Date: April 14th:

Spring Eggstravaganza @ Boisseranc Park in Buena Park
Date: April 16th
Time: 8am-12pm
Location: 7520 Dale St, Buena Park, CA 90620
The Spring Eggstravaganza is an interactive festive event featuring games, bounce houses, entertainment, ponies and a petting zoo, crafts, prizes, pancake breakfast, and a candy scramble. The pancake breakfast begins at 8 and the candy scramble begins at 12.
Pretend City Easter Celebration in Irvine
Date: April 16th
Time: 11am-3pm
Location: 29 Hubble, Irvine, CA 92618
Play your way through this Easter Celebration and enjoy an appearance by the Easter Bunny with photo ops, creating Easter eggs, listening to Easter stories, and more.
Tanaka Farms Wagon Rides with the Easter Bunny in Irvine
Date: April 17
Time: 10am-4pm
Location: 5380 3/4 University Dr, Irvine, CA 92612
Tanaka Farms guests can hop on a wagon to enjoy a ride with the Easter Bunny. Stop and pick strawberries or fresh veggies along the way, visit the barnyard educational exhibit, and get a photo op with the Bunny before you go. Masks are required during wagon rides.
Easter Eggstravaganza @ Irvine Regional Park in Orange
Date: March 26th – April 16th
Time: 10AM – 5PM Weekdays & 9AM – 6PM Weekends
Location: 1 Irvine Park Rd, Orange, CA 92869
Irvine Park Railroad is once again the place to go for Easter Festivities. Beginning March 26th, the whole family can come out and enjoy a day packed full of fun that includes train rides, photos with the Easter Bunny, an Easter egg hunt, and activities. Prices vary by activity. Activity tickets are $6 each or 15 for $80. Visits to the Bunny are $15.
Easter Eggstravaganza @ Mariners Church in Irvine
Date: April 16th
Time: 4pm and 5:30pm
Location: 5001 Newport Coast Dr, Irvine, CA 92603
Come early to the 4p, service for our Easter Eggstravaganza at 2:45p with a petting zoo, inflatables, and Easter Egg Scramble. Infants and toddlers get the spotlight!
Join us for the 5:30p service and stay after for our Easter Fest where you can dance to swing music, enjoy the petting zoo, ride the Easter Train, and collect all the Easter eggs.
Community Egg Hunt & Easter Carnival @ OC First Assembly in Orange

Join the free fun at this Easter Egg Hunt. Other activities include free chiropractic care, soccer clinics, and more.
Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast @ Tustin Sports Park

The Tustin Easter Celebration is fun for the whole family. The day includes a pancake breakfast beginning at 8:00, then beginning at 9:00 there will be game booths, a petting zoo, train rides and jumpers, live entertainment, a BMX bike show, a kids freeze dance, and photos with the Easter Bunny.
