Our Academy
The AoPS Academy curriculum is carefully designed to prepare students for the rigors of advanced university classes and highly competitive careers. We stress both the fundamentals and extending those fundamentals to advanced applications in all of our math, science, and language arts classes. Students develop a deep understanding of new concepts, and learn how to use them in complex situations. Expert instructors guide small groups of high-performing students in weekly classes during the school year, while our summer courses maintain student readiness.
Our Math Classes
Students work through the rigor of our challenging curriculum with like-minded peers and an expert in the room to guide them. The peer group is one of the biggest advantages of the academy as it creates a sense of camaraderie among our students that fosters a love of math. Students rave about how exciting it is to learn math in a setting with other students who are equally committed to challenging themselves in a fun and engaging environment.
Our Language Arts Classes
At our academy, we focus on the craft and art of effective communication. Our experts guide students through complex unit projects that cover fundamental skills such as vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing techniques, where they receive regular, constructive feedback from both their instructors and peers that further refine their writing abilities.
