Before launching Storymakery three years ago, my career was in Hi-Tech. I spent several years as a management consultant and then as an entrepreneur in automation software and services for mid to large businesses. I’ve always enjoyed writing and discovered that I best expressed my ideas through written communication. My inspiration with Storymakery was my older daughter, who also enjoyed creative writing. Like many children between the ages of 5 and 9, she would often write her stories, draw pictures and then staple the pages together. My vision with Storymakery was to not only offer the first self-publishing experience for children, but to also unlock their self-expression and imaginations.
I don’t get much time off with this business but when I do, I enjoy traveling and sailing with my family. Our favorite trip together was Bali.
My favorite movie is Out of Africa.
I am reading Wild Robot with my daughter for her school book club.
My favorite brunch spot is Bonjour Cafe and Bistro in Dana Point, CA.
