Returning from a “Pandemic Pause” to the Southland, the Pomona Fairplex will host Pinners Conference & Expo California, Friday and Saturday, August 26-27, 2022. Pinners Conference is a must-attend event for creators and lifestyle enthusiasts where experts connect with those who love to craft, cook, learn self-care, and create. For two days, guests will have the opportunity to attend more than one hundred classes and presentations covering a variety of topics led by industry leaders.
“Pinners Conference is the only DIY, cooking, crafting and style expo where the pages of Pinterest come to life,” said Roxanne Bennett, CEO. “We connect consumers with the top influencers in a variety of interests. Whether it’s cooking, baking, decorating, home décor or anything creative, Pinners is the destination to learn something new, hone one’s skills and collaborate with the best in their fields.”

Pinners originated as a lifestyle expo, with a few retail vendors. “We were inspired to provide a space for the “everyday” person to be inspired, rediscover themselves, learn a new skill as well as shop the latest trends in fashion and lifestyle brands,” said Bennett. “Our first Pinners Conference was in Salt Lake City in 2013. Since then, we have expanded to major cities throughout the country. From California, Texas, Utah, Idaho, Indiana, Arizona to Georgia and Kansas, we are proud to bring a dynamic group of presenters together to thousands each year.”
Expecting an estimated 10,000 attendees at the Pomona Fairplex, Pinners Conference showcases the best and brightest influencers in one forum to share their knowledge by offering classes that aren’t easily found at local craft stores, community colleges, or boutiques. “With so many options, our guests can customize their weekend. From picking and choosing classes, attending seminars, shopping and creating,” said Bennett. “Someone might stop by the Michaels Crafts booth and design a free make-and-take before taking a class by a local artist to learn how to watercolor, then find their new favorite outfit from a local boutique. Be sure to plan for the whole day!”
Advance registration is highly recommended, space is limited and class seats do sell-out. Tickets are always available for walk-ins the day of the event.
