The only hands-on shop STEM class that gets kids to put down their phones, solve difficult problems using their hands, experience real tools and solutions, and learn new skills that last a lifetime. These are the shop classes they used to teach in high school but using new technology alongside traditional skills. Students will have the pride and satisfaction of building real projects from scratch using real tools and gain the confidence that they can handle whatever comes their way!
Offered as a 1-week summer camp starting April 24 and running through August 25. Students come Monday thru Friday 9am to 4pm for one week. Multiple weeks and levels offered. Kids are introduced to professional tools and technology applicable to a wide range of vocations such as engineering, manufacturing, and physical sciences. Students will learn valuable problem solving and technical skills that will last a lifetime and help them make the right career choice!
