This is going to a special celebration for Valentine’s Day in regards to how we enjoy and choose to spend the day with the Pandemic restrictions.
We still have to be cautious about our activities and we thought a rental of the Swan Pedal Boats was just the right fit for us.
We have found a special activity that is outdoors and fun for the family.
Why this is great:
We enjoyed going during the week when it was not so busy. We wanted to do something unique and special as a family to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
We got to explore the pond with the backdrop of the City Landscape in Long Beach.
If you are looking for a relaxing activity this is for you, Sit back, relax, and take a leisurely ride! The best part of it all was the sunset.
What to expect:
A valid driver’s license or State ID are required upon request.
Life jackets will be provided.
Swan Pedal Boats are available with a reservation.
The Rentals are available during the week and weekend as well.
The waters are calm so there is nothing to worry about.
The LED lights on the Swan come on after the 5:45pm sessions.
Perfect for a relaxing afternoon on the water with a picnic lunch.

There is also parking in the Parking Garage across the street.

HOURLY PRICING: $11 per adult; $6 per child (17 years or younger)
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN FIT ON A SWAN BOAT?
Our large swan boat can seat up to 5 passengers. Our small swan boat can seat two adults and two children 10 years or younger. Once you check in on the dock, our rental staff will help determine which swan best works for your party.
WHAT IS THE WEIGHT LIMIT OF THE SWAN BOAT?
Our large swan boats hold a total weight capacity of 1,400 lbs.
ARE MASKS REQUIRED TO RENT?
Yes, due to Los Angeles County ordinance, masks are required to be worn by everyone while in line, and on the dock. Once out on the water, safely socially distanced from others outside your household, you may remove your mask.

WHAT SIZE LIFE JACKETS DO YOU HAVE?
We offer life jackets in a variety of sizes that can accommodate newborns through adult sizes up to a 70″ chest circumference.
ARE DOGS ALLOWED ON THE BOATS?
Yes, we are dog friendly. Pet owners should use good judgement when deciding whether or not to bring their dog. Dogs should be friendly, well socialized, and always kept on a leash when in line and on the dock. Pet owners are responsible for their dog(s) at all times including lifting them in and out of the boat. Dogs are not allowed to swim in the lake. Life jackets are not required for dogs, nor do we provide life jackets for pets. If you wish to bring your own life jacket for your dog, you may do so.
ARE FOOD AND DRINKS ALLOWED ON THE BOATS?
Yes, non-alcoholic drinks and food are permitted aboard the swan pedal boats. A small lap-sized cooler is allowed. Bring a blanket and create your own sunset or evening picnic experience. Please note: there is no alcohol allowed onboard. All renters must abide by this rule or your rental will be terminated with no option for a refund.
